Bring BARON Home!

Baron is a Hurricane Katrina pet that was taken by a rescue group, although family had church members caring for him, and was adopted out by AZ Humane Society. Baron had identifying Rabies tags but the shelter refused to try to make contact with the family or at least hold his adoption open until the family was located.

Meet Baron and his Story:   After Katrina hit, Baron, 8 years old,  remained in the care of his grandfather who had carried him through the floodwaters so that he would not be exposed to the toxic sludge.  Ultimately they found safety at the First Baptist Church in Chalmette. The grandfather had to be rescued to allow him to be reunited his wife who was extremely ill. Like so many others at that point he was forced to leave Baron behind.  Church members offered to continue to watch over Baron until rescuers picked him up.

Found Petfinder Report entered by Arizona Humane Society:  PF43585 and PF45081.  Missing crucial information.  Last known location was not entered into the proper search engine field and shot tag information was missing completely.

Baron was adopted out by Arizona Humane Society on December 15, 2005.

End Result:  Baron’s family and volunteers had a very difficult time locating Baron on   Petfinder.   Found report confirmed to be Baron on January 19th, 2006.

Please help us, the volunteers praying for a reunite, by signing this petition....hopefully it will help us convince the humane society to work with us and request that the family return Baron to his family!

The adopted family who remains anonymous refuses to return Baron to his loving family.  States that he has bonded with there three other dogs and they have decided to keep him!  Arizona Humane Society refuses to reveal their identity.
