Change the law that allows a Workers Comp. Judge to deny a claim without viewing the claims facts

Our Workers Comp. System is broken!

Greedy Ins. Co. Executives and their representatives have bought the favors of many Dr.'s, Lawyers, Politicians and, most disturbingly, our Judges.

They have convinced the people that are supposed to be protecting the public interest and the injured workers of our country that we are all faking the injuries we claim, regardless of the medical records, and if they cant proove that, they convince an unscrupulous Dr. to "make it look like there is a different injury involved", one that is NOT covered by the Workers Comp Act. Many injured workers are being maimed right now!

Their greed is out of control, and they must be stopped ASAP!

Their are more and more workers being injured every day in this country, and in other countries too, Canada's system is just as bad as the US', however there are less and less claims being approved then ever before. There are a lot of people right in your neighborhood, maybe a friend or a family member, that are suffering from undiagnosed or misdiagnosed injuries, all to increase the profit margin of the Ins. Co.'s.

The numbers of workers being injured every year in this country number in the hundreds of thousands, and almost none of these people are receiving the medical treatment they need and deserve, or even worse, these people are being maimed by ignorant and greedy Dr.s. whose bank accounts are getting bigger and bigger because of the unscrupulous tactics of these greedy Ins. Co. exec's. and the bribes they provide. It is much cheaper to bribe a Dr. then it is to pay for an injured workers medical treatment. In fact you may know of an injured worker that is being ignored or maimed by this system, or you may "be" one.

And if that's not bad enough they are systematically buying the Workers Comp. Judges, and this petition explains that these judges are given God-Like powers over the injured workers. This petition addresses a little known law in the Workers Comp. Act that is at the core of this problem. As this petition states, a Workers Comp. Judge is the "Ultimate Fact Finder" in any claim for benefits, and their decision can be based on a "personal judgement" by the judge at a hearing, "without any consideration of the facts" of the claim. That's right, the "personal opinion" of the judge at the hearing, overrides the fact's of the claim, and "there is no oversite of the decision at all." These judges are quite litterally considered to be GOD'S. And even more disturbing, if this situation can get any worse, is the law states that their decision "cannot be overturned or reversed "FOR ANY REASON"! Noone, not the Appeals board, the Commonwealth Court's or the Supreme Court's of "any" state can reverse or overturn his/her decision, EVER! I know this because I have written letters to all of the people involved in the Workers Comp. System that are supposed to provide checks and balances on the decision's, and I was litterally ignored by "all" of them, because of the decision made by the Judge on my claim.

I know how this sounds, but I have been through it personally. I was injured on the job in 2009 and suffered 6 Herniated Disks in my back as well as Spinal Stenosis and Arthritis of the spine... and I was denied! Even though the medical records clearly showed the injuries, the Ins. Co.'s Dr. testified under oath that "there were no documented injuries in the medical records", but while under cross-examination by my attorney, he changed his opinion to say that there "were" injuries in the medical records, but he couldn't read them the first time he looked at them, and the judge took this testimony to be credible.
He believed a "lie" to be "credible"!

The Ins. Co.'s in the Workers Comp. System in this country, and many other countries, are out of control and forcing injured workers to suffer unnecessary pain and humilliation, due to a lack of compassion and a driving need to increase their bottom line, no matter who get's hurt.

I decided to take a stand for the rights of these people, and myself, and for a while I thought I would have to stand alone. But the outpouring of support from injured workers and you, for signing this petition has given me new hope.

Let's make this happen.
