The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is home to caribou, snow fox and millions of migratory birds. It is also the most important onshore denning habitat for America's vanishing polar bears.
But this natural treasure is constantly under siege. Time and time again, the oil industry and their allies in Congress have sought to open this special place to harmful new drilling, threatening all of the wildlife that depend on it for survival.
We need to permanently protect the Arctic Refuge! Tell Congress to reject drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and to permanently protect this special coastal plain.
We took action on “Urge Congress to Permanently Protect the Arctic Refuge!”

The ecosystem of the arctic does not need to be ravaged by an uncaring and greddy public. There is more than enough room for man and his destructive ways in the continental us!

If we keep on doing this we will never stop our dependence on oil. Countless water wildlife have been devastated by oil slicks and oil spills like Exxon Valdees in Alaska. Wind and water power are viable alternatives and naturally in tune with Mother Nature and thereby human nature. Act now before these beautiful white creatures vanish before our eyes. Please.

There is no sane reason to drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. It would cost an insane amount and there is not enough oil to make it worth the effort. Let's give distillers incentives to build plants to make alcohol. It burns clean, distilling technology has been around for centuries and it can be made from anything. It would be a closed-loop---farmers grow the grain, which would be made into alcohol and then more grain would be needed for making more alcohol. But once the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is ruined, it can't be made pristine again.
