Kenan Gay should not be allowed to practice law in North Carolina due running away from a murder sce

On the night of March 3rd, 2012, Robert Kingston died in the dark in the middle of Park Road from injuries he suffered when a car ran over him, almost immediately after being pushed by Kenan Gay, now a graduate of the Charlotte School of Law. Upon seeing the body of Robert Kingston lying bloody in the street, Kenan Gay fled the scene, as described by prosecutors: “Heroes don’t run away,” Ashendorf said. “Kenan Gay ran away from a crime scene, a homicide scene. He’s still trying to run away from the truth and from justice.” That night, for 15 minutes or so, Kenan Gay ran from pursuers - hiding behind bushes, jumping fences, hiding behind houses, doing all he could to escape, as Rob Kingston lay dying in the street.

SECTION .0600 of the NC State Bar association requirements for admission outlines the moral character and general fitness requirements to become a lawyer in North Carolina. It states: "Every applicant shall have the burden of proving that the applicant possesses the qualifications of character and general fitness requisite for an attorney and counselor-at-law and is possessed of good moral character and is entitled to the high regard and confidence of the public." We, the undersigned, do not believe Kenan Gay meets these requirements. We believe running away from a crime scene, with the body of the man you just pushed lying in the road dying, should permanently disqualify Kenan Gay from ever becoming a lawyer in the state of North Carolina, or indeed in any state.
