No Veteran Should Go Hungry

More than 130,000 Veterans are homeless and hungry on any given night in America. One in three homeless people in America is a U.S. Military Veteran. And nearly 3 million Veterans and their families don't have enough to eat each month.
We believe it is our duty to give back to these men, women and their children who have given so much for our country.
Help us feed hungry Veterans and their families. Ask Veterans Affairs Ranking Member Bob Filner to join the fight against Veteran hunger.
Dear Rep. Filner,
As Chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, you have been a tireless supporter of those Veterans who have served and sacrificed for our country.
Please consider that, in addition to the many issues facing today's Veterans, one of the most critical is that many of them, and their families, are going hungry.
More than 130,000 Veterans are hungry on any given night in America. One in three homeless citizens in America is a Veteran. And nearly 3 million Veterans and their families don't have enough to eat each month.
Even one Veteran going hungry one day would be too many.
I believe it is our duty to help feed these men, women and their children who have given so much for our country.
I strongly urge you to do everything in your power to support legislation and organizations like Feed Our Vets who work to end Veteran hunger.
