Health care spending represents almost one-fifth of our economy, yet by all accounts we are not getting good value for our money. Right now, America faces a crisis of affordability that affects everyone, those insured as well as the uninsured, and people from all walks of life can't get the care they need.
Every year 99,000 Americans die from preventable health care acquired infections. For years, Congress has put off dealing with our nation's health care crisis and right now, those who oppose health care reform are stepping up their game to drown out our voices.
Don't let your voice get lost! Urge Congress to fight for a strong health care bill that features access to affordable, quality care for every American, efforts to manage costs and financing that is fair to all.
We took action on “Fight for Strong Health Care Reform”!

Please do not use taxpayer money for on demand abortions. Make sure the Stupak amendment is included in the Senate Bill on healthcare. Many people do not realize that Planned Parenthood are abortion mills. Please stop the destruction of lives for both women and their babies.

The recent bill passed by the House of Representatives should be scraped. It serves the purpose of lining the insurance companies pockets with MORE of our money.
Please give us a single payer option.

Stop letting a Lieberman, who is bought by, and who is working exclusively for the health insurance companies determine the fate of the millions of Americans who, unlike all of the people in Congress, are Not millionaries and need real reform and real health care. Do it right and do it effectively. Not doing it is betraying your country and the voters who so strongly elected you all to do this.

Two days ago, I saw a DVD showing interviews of five countries on their type of health care. It was astounding to see how these countries far outweigh us in all aspects. We spend far more and have horrendously inferior results. Our country rates 38th in over all health. In the 1950's we were number ONE!!! Something needs to be done about this. The insurance companies are obviously not the answer. I was told today that the insurance and gamboling agencies make more money than any others in our country. This has got to stop. Wake up and look at what other countries are doing to get some ideas.
