West Virginia Governor Tomblin, Senate President Cole, And Speaker Armstead Must Support The Clean Power Plan And Lead On West Virginia's State Implementation Plan. Don't Leave It Up To The EPA To Write Our West Virginia Plan.

The Clean Power Plan is America's first serious step toward protecting West Virginians and all Americans from the worst impacts of otherwise devastating climate disruption and catastrophe.

West Virginia's leaders must support an effective State Implementation Plan.

Not only can we attain the goals of the Plan, we can do it through expanding our state's commitment to clean energy efficiency and renewable energy. Not only can we meet those goals, but these steps will generate thousands of good West Virginia jobs.

Failing to create a West Virginia plan would cause the US EPA to step in and make our plan for us - not a desirable option for our state.

West Virginians support the Clean Power Plan. We know it's high time that we act to reduce our carbon emissions, while at the same time expanding our commitment to energy efficiency and renewable energy. Not only will this clean up our carbon emissions, it will improve the health of our citizens and create thousands of new, clean jobs. We ask Governor Tomblin, Senate President Cole, and Speaker Armstead to support the Clean Power Plan and an effective state plan for West Virginia. This is the biggest single step we can take to protect our state from cimate disruption. If they fail to lead, they will fail West Virginia.
