This is a call for Prayers for Peace. It is an ongoing global petition
for all of humanity to reject the ways of violence and hatred, and return to the ways of our gentle Savior Jesus Christ and make a commitment to Godly peace.
This is a reminder to our Christian brothers and sisters throughout the world that Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace and source of our salvation, clearly directed peace among His followers and personally set the example for living and dying peaceably during His earthly ministry. His message was clear: "Put up thy sword again into its place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword."
Matthew 26:52
Please seek and pray for Peace...

Prayers for Peace
The bible gives very clear direction for Christians to live peacefully.
Matthew 5:9: (words of Jesus Christ)
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
John 14:27 (words of Christ Jesus)
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Ephesians 2.14
For Christ Jesus is our peace, who has made us both one, and has broken down the dividing wall of hostility.
Luke 2:14
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Isaiah 2:4
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against
nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
George Fox (founder of the Religious Society of Friends - known as Quakers) encouraged followers of Christ Jesus to live in peaceful expectation of the Lord and wrote the following Quaker Peace
Testimony excerpted from a Statement by the Quakers to King Charles II (1660), in part, as follows:
We utterly deny all outward wars and strife and fighting with outward weapons for any end or under any pretense whatsoever; this is our testimony to the whole world . . . .
. . . The Spirit of Christ by which we are guided is not changeable, so as once to command us from a thing of evil and again to move us into it; and we certainly know and testify to the world that the Spirit of Christ which leads us into all truth will never move us to fight and war against any man with outward weapons, neither for the Kingdom of Christ nor for the kingdoms of this world...therefore we cannot learn war anymore.
