Conflict is a characteristic of human existence, but when it's associated with violence, destruction and killing, it's no longer a healthy part of living.
Everyone on this planet -- every woman, man, people of all faiths and all races -- must find a way to embrace each other's differences, co-exist and give peace a chance!
Humanity arrives together in an age where tempers are short and powerful weapons of mass destruction are abundant and only a click away. Although peace depends on every human being, it starts with individuals just like you and me.
Sign the pledge to seek, pursue and reflect peace in your life and everyone's life you touch. Because if we create peace in our lives, this will be reflected outward.

We signed the “Pledge to Give Peace a Chance” Pledge!

Until the world raises its consciousness and moves beyond its 3rd dimensional level of ego, nothing will change. Learning to embrace love and peace is our mission on earth.

Discussion is a good thing, we can share our opinions and arguments for them. We can learn what others think and build our outlook. But once we start fighting, we are not listing any more and we cannot build anything good for that.
Violence and terror are tools of fools only, and since none likes to be called that I hope less and less people will use them.

Violence tears people apart for the sake of "progress," only to cause more problems than it is meant to "fix." Peace requires understanding, which leads to real progress.
“Peace is not something you wish for; It's something you make, Something you do, Something you are, And something you give away.” -- Robert Fulghum

People think that violence and fear is the way to control eachother and so far that has been true. But, we need to change our ways all of this has to do with politics, money, land and has been going on since the beggining of time. If at least just some of just try to turn over a new leaf and change we can just think about what the world would be like if we all could live in peace and harmony.

It's important to seek peace because the world and it's people cannot survuve with all of this violence. Peace shows we're all united. It makes for a more just world.
Let's all remember Lennon and give peace a chance.
Who knows we may all like the outcome.

I agree with the following words written by Daisaku Ikeda 21st century Man of Peace. "People have the right to live in peace and humane conditions, and to that end, they exert themselves assiduously day after day."

I agree because I believe all life is sacred at every moment not just when I am happy /content.

Peace, serenity, acceptance and tolerance are the opposite of conflict, hatred and war. We can only build by constructive means not destructive ones and it is better to build up not tear down.

I believe that evolution IS creationism--God in action. I also believe that we are at a turning point in our evolution where we either recognize and act on the fact WE ARE ALL ONE, or we continue to see ourselves as separate from each other and destroy ourselves. Through prayer, meditation, and visualization, we can choose to create the former rather than the latter.
