FIGHT FOR OUR SOLDIERS

Honorable Senators and Congressmen and Representatives,
With apparently no fast end in sight in the War on Terrorism, our children and loved ones fighting around the World for Our Government and Freedom, most of the time away from any contact with their families and friends for months, not always able to use the internet emails, it is time to fight for OUR Soldiers and issue each and everyone a free cellphone with enough free minutes to contact their families and friends, not only to boost their morale and spirits but also to boost their families hopes and ease their worries.
A cellphone with usable minutes (or a coupon to purchase same for free @ their present location) should be placed in each soldiers GI-Issue at the time of service and/or deployment. Local government, police and other agencies in many instances issue their employees free cellphone use and our Soldiers deserve the same!
Many of our proud soldiers cannot afford the prohibitive cost of "roaming" while deployed overseas and deserve MUCH better than having to rely on goodhearted individuals or corporations to 'donate' a few dollars so their hearts and minds can be at ease when they hear the sound of their loved ones on the phone.
Being in the military, most individuals, who put their lives on the line for all of the US, do not receive enough compensation to be paying the cost of high phone bills, even with a so-called "military discount" offered through some of the cellphone providers. Something special needs to be done for our military personnel overseas, who are ALWAYS putting their lives on the line for us, but WHO IS FIGHTING FOR OUR SOLDIERS???
I am sure, I am not the only parent, wife, husband or other family member in the country who feels that their child(ren) and loved ones are giving their ALL to keep our Country and the world safe and we can't even give them the one thing they need for FREE!!!
Free Communications for all Soldiers would be a grand gesture by our Administration to show that we appreciate all the life-threatening work our kids and loved ones are doing.
Please, Dear Senators, Congressmen, and Representatives of our USA, take ACTION and help our Soldiers get free phone-service while they are fighting for Freedom all around the world. With the mega-profits some of our corporations are making during this time, I am sure one would be willing to "donate" such a service to our most deserving soldiers for a tax write-off.
