Missouri Valley IOWA dogs shot and need an investigation

We petition Sherriff Terry Baxter to do an aggressive investigation of the shooting deaths of the 3 dogs in Missouri Valley.
A Missouri Valley family said it heard a loud  gunshot and found
its St. Bernard dead in its yard
. The family
said its dog isn't the first one in the area
that was shot or threatened.

Shannon Theisen said her dog was threatened
before,
and she knows of two
other dogs that were shot in
Harrison County.
Theisen created some fliers to ask for
information about the shootings,
and she's posting  them around
town.
A couple of months prior, the Thiesen's said that two other neighborhood dogs were found shot to death.  The Thiesen's reported this death to the Harrison
County's Sherriff's Department.  Apparently, a staff member reported that there's
not much to go on.  He said that unless there was a confession that they were
at a dead end.

This just isn't acceptable Sherriff Terry Baxter and your department said that this
sort of situation isn't unusual in the area.  Your county allows property owner's
to shoot other dogs if they are on their property and threatening people or
animals.  Well this isn't the case here and
this happened on the the Thiesen's
property.

We petition you to actively and promptly begin an investigation into this situation.
We feel this is a timely matter and deserves your immediate attention.
Thank you.
