Under intense pressure from the Japanese government, the Shire Council of Broome, Australia, is considering reversing its stand to suspend its sister-city relationship with Taiji. Our sources indicate that the suspension is a key reason why the dolphin kills have been halted.
If the Shire Council reverses, the killing is likely to resume. We need your help today as the hearing is scheduled for tomorrow.

We at aquaholics support you in your campaign in ridding the world of dolphin slaughter. We ourselves are conservationists and environmentalists, along with others, protect of our seas in the Philippines, (Tanon Straight), were we frequently travel to where our local spinner dolphins and bottled nose dolphins come to feed. Our attempts to conserve and protect has been a struggle for all of us, but in the end we have been successfull as we had appealed to those who understand the importance of our campaign as well as our purpose. We thank those who have helped save these beautiful and wonderful creatures. Since we have been working on this project for more than 3 years we have finally received the Ordinance to protect and not to fish any of these dolphins or mammal creatures in our sea. It's been more than 3 years now, a total of 6 years of our campaign and we have won. Today, we have total heard of 3 groups consisting of 4 families each, representing groups of over 40 dolphins in our location, as supposed to the 18 dolphins we initially had 6 years ago. We now have frequent Whale Shark Sightings, 3 of them just this month in our beach front, and very new to all of us, Pilot Whales, there are known to roam free in the more southern parts of our sea but to have them in our front was never, claimed by any fishermen in our local area, there were rare sightings of Pilot Whales during the early 90's.. I give you our support and for you to know that your Movie is an inspiration to all of us here. We show your film to our guests from to time and we have made an impact to them. Thank You.
