All anime, hentai, or related animations, pictures, advertisements, and general media should be removed from the NewGrounds web site along with all Dating Sim games.

They have a different attitude about animation than does the animation industry of the U.S. They don't think everything animated has to be suitable for infants. This is why I like anime over wester / Disney animation. Anime is much more realistic that the typical hero saves princess, or the woodland creatures all frolic and play and get along types of animation. Characters in anime get angry, blush, worry, get depressed, envy others, get their priorities mixed up, and often have all of this confliction emotions just as people in real life do, unlike the two dimensional characters of Disney animation and such. The art style of anime is also another big reason why so many like anime. The art is much more attractive (and no, I am not talking just about the porn stuff). But like I said, its a Japan culture type thing, and for the reasons quoted above, is also widely popular in the U.S. now also. Bottom line is, this is another case of some people who know absolutely nothing about what they are trying to get rid of, trying to take away the enjoyment of others. How would you Disney lovers feel if a petition was signed and passed, that got rid of Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, Cinderella and all the other Disney films? What?? You say you wouldn't like that? Yeah, I thought not!! It would be a little bit different if the shoe was on the other foot, wouldn't it? Remove Anime/Hentai and Dating Sims from New Grounds web site
www.newgrounds.com is a wonderful web site that is appreciated by millions of people. We believe that the web site should not be contaminated with anime/hentai advertisements, cartoons, animations, pictures, audio, ETC. We believe that all anime/hentai content should be removed from the web site, and all reported content of that nature should be eliminated immediately. Furthermore, the emergence of Dating Sim games is an embarrassment to the human race. It is pathetic and stupid, and therefore should also be banned from the web site. Stupid anime and dating sims clogging up the all time top 50 list.
