Urge Tyson to end animal cruelty!
Tyson is one of the biggest meat producers in the United States and it also happens to be one of the least concerned with animal welfare. Tyson's chickens, may be called free range, because they aren't stuffed in cages. Instead they are stuffed into dark houses crowed with so many chickens that the floor is coated with feces and there is barely any room to move. Even if they had room it would be difficult for these chickens to move, because of they have been bred to grow at a rate that they can keep up with. Many are so obese they can't even stand. There have been many reports of workers abusing the animals, throwing them around and killing them by beating them. Please urge tyson to demand a higher standard of living for their animals. Also you may pledge in the comments box to stop buying Tyson products until there is proof that the animals are being treated humanely.
We the undersigned are deeply concerned about the treatment of your animals. We would like you to demand that the workers handling the chickens treat them gently and with respect. We urge you to take a moment and imagine yourselves in the place of one of your animals. Imagine how it would feel to be so thoroughly mistreated. While making decisions keep the animals and us in mind, and know that as consumers we care about how our food was handled. Thank you for taking the time to consider this.
