McCain and Obama: Tell Us How on Sunday Morning News Programs
Target:Meet the Press, Face the Nation, This Week, Late Edition and Fox News Sunday Sponsored by:Divided We Fail
Senators John McCain and Barack Obama both have proposed reforms for health care and economic security: two pressing issues affect every American as he or she plans for the future.
While it is important that the candidates have sound policy ideas, it is equally important that they can pass their proposed legislation through Congress. Thus, McCain and Obama's airtime on Sunday morning news programs could be a great opportunity for voters. It could bring to light whether or not the candidates have a plan to obtain the bipartisan support needed for true reform.
Don't let this opportunity slip away. Tell the hosts of Meet the Press, Face the Nation, Late Edition, This Week and Fox News Sunday: Ask McCain and Obama to explain their plans for reaching across the aisle to pass their proposed health care and economic security reforms.

Dear [Sunday Morning News Program] Host,
As host of a national news show, you have a unique opportunity to challenge the candidates to explain how they will enact their programs in a bipartisan manner.
I write today to encourage you to ask Senators John McCain and Barack Obama to explain how they will accomplish their policy plans.
I am especially interested in their plans for the long-term economic security and health care for all Americans. Our country is facing a looming fiscal challenge, and it's going to take bipartisan work to overcome the obstacles. Both candidates have claimed they are interested in working across the aisle to pass their reforms.

But how exactly will they do that?
As both candidates appear on your program, please make this question part of your inquiries.
