Midlothian High School T-Shirt Controversy

  • by: Joey Dauben
  • recipient: Cindy Williams, President, Midlothian ISD School Board
Offensive senior t-shirts were banned by Midlothian High School administrators due to the word "Hell" being on the back.
We, the student body and supporters of Midlothian High School, Midlothian, Texas, believe the First Amendment to the United States Constitution protects free speech and expression, and therefore we abhor and disagree strongly with the Midlothian High School position of banning all t-shirts that may be considered "offensive."
