Save Great Lakes Wolves!

Our nation's gray wolves face increased danger to their species' survival with the introduction of two new hunting bills.

On February 26, 2016, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Sportsmen's Heritage and Recreational Enhancement (SHARE) Act, which would end endangered species protections for gray wolves in the Great Lakes region. A companion bill would also de-list wolves in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Wyoming, and would make this status immune to review in the court system.

While 3,700 wolves remain in the Great Lakes region, experts say they have yet to recover their population since they were nearly hunted to extinction years ago. If these bills pass, hunters could decimate their population again, robbing us of natural predators needed to maintain balance in the region's ecosystem.

Please sign the petition to urge U.S. legislators to vote against these two anti-wolf bills!

Senator:

I am concerned about two new hunting bills that could further jeopardize the survival of our nation's gray wolves.
