Demand to change nursing, MAs/CNAs, and PSCs uniforms of Regional One Health Ambulatory Clinic Servi

We, the employees of Regional One Health Ambulatory Clinic Services, petition Matthew Mooney, VP of Ambulatory Services, to enforce change of the current uniform of polo shirts and scrub pants for clinical personnel back to medical scrubs. The current uniform looks very unprofessional and employees are often mistaken for working for other organizations such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc. when in uniform in public even though the Regional One Health logo is visible. Patients have commented on the new uniforms as well, some stating that the nurses don't look like nurses or questioning nurses as to why they aren't in scrubs anymore. Some of our ambulatory clinics have personnel, such as ultrasonographers, who are required to wear scrubs and patients will go to them first for a clinical question or concern regarding their healthcare because they are in medical scrubs. Our front desk personnel, PSCs, are often mistaken for cafeteria workers because they are in the same uniform in some cases. While we are in the process of remarketing the Regional One Health brand, it doesn't help when the professional staff doesn't appear professional. We are Regional One Health, which means we should be united as One. If all the ambulatory clinics are hospital-based, then we need to be uniformed like the hospital as well.
