With this Circus Act, and forced breeding center claiming to be a sanctuary, it is not a big secret. It's a big lie.
We all know the abuse and extreme cruelty Circus elephants endure. Yet this "Foundation" who accepts donations as a sanctuary is actually a Circus Elephant holding center.
Copeland also states "Those elephants are all either retired performers with the Carson and Barnes Circus, or the children of those elephants. The Carson and Barnes circus actually calls Hugo home, so when the elephants were retired, they simply stayed where they had lived for their entire lives."
This "Sanctuary" offers Public tours for $30. If you'd like an even more exclusive experience, you can schedule a private tour. How is this a Sanctuary? When will the elephants finally have peace? They continue to live in fear of the bull hook.
We The Undersigned, demand The Endangered Ark Foundation be investigated fully, charges filed, and violations be made public, as well as an immediate vet check to be performed by a licensed vet on each of the elephants while waiting to be transferred to a proper Sanctuary, where they would have the opportunity to roam acres of natural habitat, play in a pond, forage for fresh vegetation, and enjoy a full, healthy, and enriched life without fear.
