Give our Pagan Veterans the Respect they Deserve!

Give our fallen Pagan Warriors the appropriate symbols on their tombstone. They died struggling to fight for their country, and they deserve to be recognized by their religion. Instead the only religious symbols allotted on gravestones of fallen soldiers are The Star of David, the cross and there is the blank one.

WE PAGANS BLEED RED AND WE WILL NOT SURRENDER! Give our Fallen Pagan warriors the RECOGNITION THEY DESERVE, by giving the ability to brandish our symbols on our gravestones.

Not even are dog tags printed with the proper term for Pagans or Wiccans! So Chaplains rarely give anything but Christian last rights or Ceremonies.

"When I joined the USAF in 1979, I knew that I was not a Christian, yet on the list were hundreds of Christian sects for me to choose from. I had to put something on my dog tags, but there wasn't any "Pagan" or "Wiccan". I had to choose between "None" and "Other". I chose "Other". Of course that led to questions. What other? Are you a Satanist? I kept quiet- Born Again sorts run rampant in the military, and one wrong word- or 'wrong' jewelry escape- would find me on the receiving end of their harangues." -- Lorie Johnson

The first amendment to the constitution reads Freedom of Religion. There are various laws, and judicial decisions that separate Church from state. If you don't understand that after going to Yale... Well we peasant workers will just have to inform you of what that means.

That it is unconstitutional to deny a persons, right to practice his or her religion. That it is unconstitutional for any governing body or authority under the jurisdiction of the constitution, (THIS MEANS YOU BUCKOO!) can not lawfully inhibit by order or otherwise intimidative means, or through any coercive manner prevent a person from wearing symbols of religion or any such proper designative inscription.

It is immoral to operate in this prejudicial manner. It is an act of blatant discrimination, as has been seen before by your administration.

Give our fallen warriors the chance to be recognized as the proud Pagan Soldiers they are, with thousands of years of triumph, over terror, evil that lurks in men's hearts.

And we the undersigned say you had better make a move on this issue.
