Thousands if not hundred of thousands of Republic Services employees are being paid not only on a type of wage that makes it impossible for them to follow DOT regulations, and safe speeds on the road, but also prevents them from doing the job in the way it is required to be safe, but on top of that they are shorting each of their poorest employees an additional $1 or two per hour that they know about but refuse to tell all the other employees and refuse to change it. Additionally, because of the way they pay their poorest and neediest employees are getting seriously hurt and this company locally in connection with a local doctor (Dr. Broadhurst in the Asheville are that we know about) and others in other areas to release these seriously injured employees back to work then later on they get rid of them for the smallest infraction unknown to them seriously injured already but released back to work by one of "their" doctors as if in perfect health with no restrictions so they don't have to pay anyone. We have begun a facebook, twitter and hopefully soon a blog to have anyone who has had these issues with this company or any other company that is taking advantage of worker's compensation laws that protect only them and not the injured worker. Lets stand up to this company and companies like it. If they are neglectful they should pay, and right now the law says they don't have to, LETS CHANGE THIS!!!!!!!
