Speak Out Against Voter Suppression in Pennsylvania

In a highly controversial and partisan move, Pennsylvania's Governor Tom Corbett recently signed into law voter identification requirements that could prevent up to 758,000 legitimate Pennsylvania voters from casting their ballot in this November's elections.

Pennsylvania House Republican Majority Leader Mike Turzai even said straight out that he's proud of the "Voter ID [law] which is going to allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania."

The attack on voting rights is happening all over the country -- Pennsylvania is just one of 11 states to pass controversial voter identification laws ahead of the November elections.

These kind of attacks on our voting rights are absolutely unacceptable. Take action today: Tell Governor Corbett that you oppose voter suppression in Pennsylvania and across the country.
Dear Governor Corbett,

I am extremely disappointed in your support for the voter identification law that could prevent hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvania voters from casting their ballot in this November's elections.

Requiring photo IDs is a significant departure from current law and will make it harder for registered voters to get identification in time to cast a ballot in November.

As a concerned individual who opposes voter suppression in Pennsylvania and across the country, I urge you to overrule this controversial law.
