Save Wolverines and Our Climate

In movies and the real world, no one's as fierce as the wolverine. But even the wolverine can’t take on global warming without your help.

Wolverines are fearless, mountain-scaling carnivores that live in areas with deep snow. They raise their pups in snow dens, but when global warming shrinks the snowpack, the young wolverines lose their protective cover.

The federal government is considering giving wolverines protection as an endangered species in the lower 48 states. These protections would help reduce dangers to the wolverine from trapping and other harms, and would also drive government action to fight climate change.

Please sign the petition today urging the government to protect the wolverine from climate change and other threats.
Dear Secretary Jewell:

Wolverines are being pushed toward extinction as global warming melts the snowpack they need for survival.

Please support the full protection of the wolverine as an endangered species in the lower 48 states, including actions to slow climate change.

Thank you.
