Dear Sir

It is very sad to see that the 35 years old Virupaksha temple elephant Laksmi is been treated in very in human way. The temple authorities have made it a source of income to collect money from devottes in return of blessings and in this process they make the poor creature to stand entire day, beat it with iron rods and wooden stics and feed it rarely. Now it has even got fungal infection which is not treated also. Please save the poor animal from them and increse the pride of world heritage site. Plase do the needful.
