It is time to repeal the 22nd Amendment to the United States Constitution. The people are the true government in our country and deserve direct say in the election of our officials. It has happend many times within our history where we have had a President, Vice President, Congressperson, or Supreme Court Member who has been doing what is neccessary and proper for America instead of what is politically correct and then they have to leave office due to the term limits specified by the U.S. Constitution and the official that takes thier place reserves everything they did which does nothing but bring harm to America.
This has to stop. If an official is good at doing the correct job they were elected for they deserve to stay there until their voting records change to incorrect or they are directly voted out by the American people. There already are term limits for government officials within the United States. They are the American voters. If the American people do not want an official to serve another term they will vote to have them replaced ending the term of office for that official. Sign this petition telling the U.S. Government to repeal the 22nd Amendment to the United States Constitution and allow ALL U.S. Government officials to retain their elected positions for as long as they are doing the correct job they were elected for.
Additionally can you please sign the petition to amend the United States Constitution to add the 28th Amedment and amend Article II which will abolish terms limits for the President Of The United States and make laws apply equally to all Americans at the links below. These petitions are closely related. If an official is a good one they should get to hold their office until they commit an act against the United States and are voted out by Congress or their voting records change and they are directly voted out by the American people. If laws are good enough for the average American citizen they are good enough for members of Congress and should equally apply to them since we are all Americans. The 22nd Amendment has been a barrier to the freedom of this country especially at the moment with our economy in trouble. There have been too many throughout our history where an elected official that is doing what is the for America has to leave office due to the term limits specified in the U.S. Constitution. Often the official that takes their place reverses everything they did which does nothing but bring harm to America.
This has to stop. If an official is good at doing correct job they were elected to do so they deserve to stay in office and retain their position until they commit a harmful act against the United States and are removed from office by Congress or their voting records change and their are directly voted out.
