As parents, we are committed to providing the best environment for our children to succeed. We have done our part in providing stable and supportive homes. What we need is for the School District to do the same for our children with respect to education. Stability and consistency is the key here. The environment our children study in is as important as the content they are being taught.
With that being said, we do NOT agree with the School District's plan to grossly disrupt the education of our children by relocating them to different schools for the 2017-2018 school year. As parents, we have sacrificed and endured a lot of hardships to ensure that we give our children the proper complete high school experience. This completely undermines all of that.
We believe there is a better way and all options should be explored, shared and discussed with all parties involved, and that includes the community. We do NOT agree with decisions being made behind closed doors about what is best for the contractors or what is best for the administration. The only decision, we as a community can support, is one that is made with the best interest of the students in mind.
Please sign this petition to urge our School District to be transparent about the planning of this remodeling, consider and share all options, involve the community in the decision process and allows us to have a voice in this very important decision for our children.

Also there is a Pasco District Board Meeting on Aug 2nd from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at 7227 Land O' Lakes Boulevard. Please make every effort to attend and show support for this cause. We cannot change the trajectory of this process, without your support.

Thank you all for signing and sharing this petition! The renovation maybe necessary, but the level of disruption is unnecessary.
I contacted Jeff Solochek (Tampa Bay Times) about this issue and he has shared my petition, as well as committed to keeping it fresh in the news.
There is a Pasco District Board Meeting on Aug 2nd from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at 7227 Land O' Lakes Boulevard. Please make every effort to attend and voice your concerns.
