This year is a critical presidential election and an important time in history. Will we see big money and bad politics? Or can we inspire progress on climate and energy?
25 years ago during the Reagan Administration, Americans worked together and led the world to solve the ozone crisis. The film "Shattered Sky" tells that success story and compares it to the current issue of climate change. It inspires us all to work together. If we solved ozone, we can solve climate change.
Tell President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney to take inspiration from the ozone story. Demand that Obama and Romney present detailed plans for a forward-looking energy policy that solves climate change.
Take action: Make energy and climate part of the 2012 election.
Energy policy and climate change are important issues for me. I believe that if we identify fair solutions to these problems then it will help America’s economy and environment.
For me to consider you as a viable candidate, you need to discuss these important issues.
This year is the 25th anniversary of the global ozone treaty. America led the world to a solution on that issue. Let’s take inspiration from that story to all work together, Republicans and Democrats, for a solution on energy and climate that works for all Americans.
Keep up the great work. Look what you've accomplished!
