Tell the Senate: It's Time to End Employment Discrimination!

In 29 states there's no state law to protect lesbian, gay, and bisexual employees from being fired - and 33 states lack state laws protecting transgender people. That's right, 33 states.

This leaves thousands of hardworking Americans at risk, with no job security, susceptible to the whims of a discriminatory boss.

It's time for equality everywhere - and that includes the workplace. A key Senate committee just passed the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) and now, the full Senate has a historic opportunity to tackle this issue once and for all - please send your message right now!
Dear Senator,

I'm writing you as a constituent and supporter of the Human Rights Campaign to urge the swift passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, or ENDA.

ENDA would offer simple workplace protections to millions all across the country - the same protections straight people take for granted - that they can't be fired for who they love.

I urge you to do everything you can to help pass ENDA out of committee and onto the Senate floor for a vote. Once there, I hope to count on your support for full passage.

Giving workplace equality to ALL shouldn't be controversial or complicated. It's about basic fairness and economic opportunity, and I appreciate your support.

Sincerely,
