We need laws in place to stop ALL circuses from forcing animals to perform. These poor animals endure so much pain while they are being "trained". Hawaii has already stopped allowing any circuses to use animals. I hope that all states will follow and give these poor animals a life that they deserve without pain, loneliness, fear and isolation. Let's make Colorado proud and write a law forbidding use of animals in all circuses and fairs!
Dear Govenor Hickenlooper,
This is a petition in regards to the health and welfare of wild and exotic animals forced to perform in circuses. These animals are beaten while being taught, forced to do tasks that are physically painful and beaten again if they do not perform well!
I believe that someday all exotic animals will be released from circuses and I think it is time that individual states stand up and say no more!
The Cirque De Soleil circus has proven that circuses can be entertaining and highly profitable with just human performers!
Please stand up for animals and against animal abuse! Please introduce a law prohibiting any live animal circuses in the state of Colorado, make us proud!
