Offer A Message of Condolence to Norway

Last Friday, Norwegians faced the deadliest attack in the country since World War II. After building and detonating a bomb in central Oslo, extremist Anders Breivik opened fire at a youth summer camp. By the time the police arrived, Breivik had killed at least 76 young adults, including the stepbrother of the Norwegian Crown Princess.

Fueled by his rage against Norway's multicultural policies, Breivik lashed out at representatives of Norway's left-wing Labor Party. His actions demonstrate the immense cruelty and suffering that hatred can cause.

The people of Norway have spent the weekend in mourning, and the country will face more hardships in the next few weeks throughout Breivik's judicial process. Please sign to give your messages of condolence and support to Care2 members affected by the tragedy in Oslo.
I am writing to offer my condolences about last week's horrific tragedy in Oslo. As a peaceful nation, Norway's suffering is especially heartbreaking.

Although I know that the process of healing will be slow and painful, please know that thoughts of love from all over the world are going out to you, your families, and all Norwegians.
