Public use of new multi-million dollar gym in Eureka, Nevada which was promised to public.

People were under the impression that the public of Eureka, Nevada would be able to use the new multi-million dollar facility when students or activities weren't being held. People voted to establish this building under the impression that they would be able to get some use out of it. Our tax dollars are now being spent on a building that is not even close to being fully utilized and is simply impractical. We were lied to and now are literally paying for a building that we cannot use. Eureka County School District is claiming there is too much liability to allow public to use the building, but a simple waiver would suffice in extinguishing any liability. The school could also charge for passes which could benefit students with funding for activities such as prom or class trips.
