Parents in College...Where are OUR support groups??

Parents who attend college do not have a support groups that act as an aid to them feeling understood and supported. Uplifting words of encouragement from group members and guest speakers who have experienced similar struggles make a difference on the outlook of our future!

Isn't it odd that there are support groups for anything from self esteem, relationship, anxiety, social skills, drug & substance abuse, and domestic violence issues, but nothing for parents who struggle to prioritize work, children, and school studies.

We need more resources in our schools for parents to help them in their journey of reaching the pursuit of happiness. There may not necessarily be a mental issue, or a domesticated issue, or an issue with alcohol, but if you are a parent like I am you work full-time, go to school, and have children & families. You probably need & want supportive individuals who can relate to you and have experienced what you experienced. So, please SIGN MY PETITION to increase awareness for the neccessity of support groups for parents in college!!!
