Because even though I have my rights back to vote and have been not been in trouble and was after release,l have to for the rest of my life never be able to get food stamps because of a drug felony but other felons no matter how bad a thing they did such as rape,messing with kids can get food stamps I have never been client or hurt anyone my entire life I am in a wheelchair.l have nurses to dress,bath me,social security,ssi,just like all the other disabled persons.So there saying I don't need to eat? before this I got 115.00 a month in food stamps.now since 2010 none and by the time I pay my rent, electric,heat,a.c,water,etc.theres no money left so I go to a church which is embarrassing.they give u enough for a couple days but I am can't eat most the things because I choke or allergies.,acid reflux.You can't pick which food they give u.So I end up giving it to someone else who can eat it.

I am a handicapped person and have a drug felony and have a gotten my rights back to vote l don't believe it's fair that a rapist or a person that molests children can get food stamps or any other felons but l can't permanently.Before l got in trouble l got 115.00 a month in food stamps now since I've been out .l get none . I still get social security and social security income.As I Always have. I have not gotten in trouble since I've been out. I didn't do the crime I was sent in for my boyfriend took my meds.and died and because I had no witnesses to prove that I didn't give it too him they gave me distribution.l spent 2 1\2years of my life there. I lived him very much and I will miss him the rest of my life he was my soulmate. I wish l had of locked my meds up.But when u love and trust someone u don't think of those things.But I'm not sorry l went because it toughen me up. I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy. I had never been in trouble till all this.please persons need to eat handicapped in wheelchairs l can't work.
