Everyone deserves a quality education. But what happens when 9 out of 10 schools are damaged or destroyed and any available schools are unsanitary and overcrowded? It means that in Haiti, 500,000 children cannot go to school.
Haiti continues to suffer as a result of last year's devastating earthquake. There isn't enough funding or resources to build and rehabilitate schools, train and hire teachers, or purchase the books and resources necessary to administer the education. The hardest part to comprehend is that it would cost less than US$1 a day per child to provide a complete education for Haiti's children.
Please sign the pledge to help get Haiti's kids back to school. Your support can give Haiti's children a brighter future.
