This petition is in an effort to have a law passed making it mandatory that ALL Lilies come with a warning label or tag stating specifically the fact that:
"All parts of the lily even small amounts are extremely toxic and deadly to cats. If you suspect your cat has ingested Lily, seek Emergency treatment within 18hrs. or death can occur within 36-72hrs."

My name is Sarah M. Wheeler and this past Easter my 3 cats were almost killed after ingesting parts of an Easter Lily. They survived, but tragically, I know of someone's beloved cat who passed away on Monday April 17th 2006. He ingested Lily as well. His owner, having been completely unaware of the danger Lilies pose for felines, is beside herself. This cat died needlessly and painfully.
