Urge authorities of Florida, USA, to immediately act on repeated animal abuse at Animal Adventures Florida

A very brave animal advocate has stepped forward with terrible information after witnessing severe abuse and highly unethical treatment of animals at Animal Adventures in Okeechobee in Florida. This venue has 192 pages of violations against animals recorded by FWC (US Fish and Wildlife Commission). The USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) has so far done nothing to address this issue.

Some, but not all, of the horrific eye witness observations by the animal advocate is as follows:
* A pregnant female Tigress was in severe need for a cesarean after her cub was stuck in the birth canal . The owner left the Tigress in labor for 3 agonising days before calling in a Vet. Infection had set in and the Tigress did not survive the cesarean. The animal advocate informed us that the owner, Sue Pearce, couldnt be bothered burying the Tigress, so she put the Tigress in a ditch and sprinkled a bit of dirt over her. See graphic photograph.
*. Starvation - Until the animal advocate arrived, the animals had all been starved for 5 days.
* Putrefied stinking incorrect food left rotting with maggots
* Stagnant disgusting water
* A Lioness with Ataxia ( loss of full control over bodily movements) was forced to breed while having seizures.
* The owner ran over a IIama with her truck and left him there to die over 24 hours. After his death, she pulled him out into the pastures for the vultures to feed on. See graphic pictures
* A female Tiger had her cubs taken from her at 1 week old. The mother was then put immediately back into breeding for " Christmas babies" .

There is much more that has been witnessed and recorded.

We cannot grow desensitised to animal abuse. Those in positions of authority that have the power to stop this abuse must act. When they do not act, innocent animals endure harrowing abuse and innocent human beings are traumatised.

The people signing this petition stand for non abuse of all animals, non abuse of the witness's that bravely come forward to try and make atrocities stop.
That is the humane and right thing to do.

To Governor of Florida, Rick Scott, US Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) Florida, and United States Department of Agriculture USDA (Florida),

It has been brought to our attention that severe abuse and neglect is occuring at Animal Adventures, Okeechobee, Florida.

The FWC's 192+ page documentation of violations against the animals of Animal Adventures should have been enough to put an end to the suffering these animals have endured.

However, for reasons unknown, this situation has been left to go on and as a result many more CITES listed and protected, endangered species have endured severe abuse.

Not only has this terrible situation continued for the animals, but also, innocent human beings going to help at Animal Adventures have been subjected to traumatic vision of this animal abuse.

One such person has come forward after witnessing and recording the most awful experience of seeing graphic animal abuse.

We live in a time where some people have become desensitised to the brutal acts inflicted upon animals. This is a sad testimont that some human beings are blind to such abuse.

We cannot become complacent to abuse crimes, whether it is against humans or animals.  Just as there are laws that protect humans against abuse, there are laws that protect animals against abuse.

While the 192+ pages of violations against the animals of Animal Adventures is already known, must it take innocent human beings to work in these places and horrifically become witness to such abuse.

We, the people signing this petition, urge that the Government of Florida, the USDA and FWC immediately act and stop the heart breaking abuse witnessed at Animal Adventures, Florida, and with the help of animal organisations and animal protectors, find highly ethical rehomes for all these animals.

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." - Mahatma Gandhi

We look forward to the ethical action of the state of Florida

Sincerely,
