Doug Forrester - It's Time to Come Clean with New Jersey Voters

Trust must be earned, and as voters we must demand candidates stop playing the same dishonest political games.

Over the course of this campaign for New Jersey's next governor, Doug Forrester has used dodgy and slippery language to hide his views on the issues important to voters. He talks about caring for the environment, then takes massive donations for coal interests. He opposition embryonic stem cell research one day, and doesn't the next - and now no one is sure if he supports it or doesn't.

Why is Doug Forrester refusing to release records of potentially illegal campaign contributions? Why won't he release all of his tax returns like other candidates have done? Why is he forbidding government regulators access to his corporate records?

In this year's election we have the opportunity to start fresh and build a prouder New Jersey, but not if the candidates continue to play the same corrupt politics.

Call on Doug Forrester to come clean, and tell New Jersey voters the truth!

Dear Mr. Forrester,

I am proud to be a New Jersey citizen, and I want a governor that can restore the people's trust in our government. That is why I must call on you to cease using political tricks to hide your record and the personal attacks on your opponents.

New Jersey faces many important decisions, and voters must know where the candidates stand on the issues. You must stop using dodgy language to avoid taking a position on stem-cell research. And the environment is too important to simply say you care for, without giving evidence you will make New Jersey greener.

Politicians that use deceptive language to hide their views on important issues, and attack politics against their opponents undermine the ability of voters to make an informed choice.

Please, do what's right for New Jersey, stop using dirty tricks and dodgy language.

Sincerely,
