My niece is soon to be made homeless after the loss of her parents and hasn't been given any support by Southway Housing Trust

My sister Diane and her partner Roy were killed in a motorbike accident just under 12 weeks ago. Roy tragically passed away at the scene and my sister sadly passed away 2 days later in hospital. They left behind 3 daughters. One of them, Hayley still lived at home with her mum.
Hayley will be made homeless in around 2 months time as she has no choice to reside at the property as the girls have had to face the reality that they will have to sell the property to cover the mortgage payments as soon as they can.
When the accident happened Hayley did the practical thing by getting in touch with Southway housing trust who at the time, explained due to the circumstances, she would be in a good position to be given priority on the housing list for a property for her to move into. Since then, she has made contact with Southway on a number of occasions and they cannot recall who may have given her that information and that she would not be given any form of priority due to the circumstances. We have been to see the local Councillor John Leech who advised he would contact the housing association and let us know the outcome when he has. This was almost 2 weeks ago and we are still waiting for a response. My niece is a sensible young lady who works full time and is trying to find her way in the world under the most difficult and tragic circumstances. As a family we are devastated by what's happened and will slowly come to terms with it but In the mean time we feel my niece has been given no support what's so ever from Southway and feel we are getting absolutely no where in terms of help for my niece.
