To stop funding of the proposed road scheme that will go through Priory Park, leading to 113 trees being cut down and an ancient burial ground being tarmaced over.
Save Priory Park
We the undersigned, wish you to be aware of our oppostion to the F5 road scheme, planned for the A127/A1159 Priory Crescent, Southend on sea, Essex. We understand an outcome is still awaited from your office, with regard to the outstanding funding.
If the scheme goes through, 113 trees wil require felling and the recently discovered ancient burial ground of a saxon King will be tarmaced over.
In the interest of our history and hertitage, we ask you to reject the bid for the cash shortfall towards this project and cancel all other funding when it is reviewed.
