Iranian civil rights activist Saba Kord Afshari has been sentenced to 24 years behind bars, including a 15-year term for taking off her hijab (the covering of the hairs) in public — an act that authorities say promoted "corruption and prostitution."
We, Iranian and non-Iranian women who believe in hijab support her in her act of bravery, stating that
1. Removing a scarf is not prostitution.
2. No amount of dress removal is permission for rape, let alone removing a scarf (incomplete hijab is an excuse many rapists use in Iran).
3. Hijab was not compulsory during the time of prophet Muhammad. Do Iranian authorities consider themselves to be more sacred than the profit?
4. The Qoran says "Let there be no compulsion in religion", let alone covering of the hair.
She hasn't even lived for 24 years, and now she got 21 in jail. and she is not the only one: Yasaman Aryani, Fereshteh Didani, etc. Free Saba Kord Afshari and other hijab protest proisoners.

فعال حقوق مدنی ایرانی صبا کرد افشاری به 24 سال زندان محکوم شده، که شامل 15 سال برای برداشتن حجاب در اجتماع است، کاری که مقامات آن را ترویج فساد و فحشا می دانند.
ما، زنان ایرانی و غیر ایرانی که به حجاب اعتقاد داریم، عمل شجاعانه او را حمایت می کنیم و بیان می داریم که
1. برداشتن روسری فحشا نیست
2. هیچ مقدار از درآوردن لباس مجوزی برای تجاوز نیست، چه برسد به برداشتن روسری (حجاب ناقص بهانه ایست که متجاوزین در ایران مورد استفاده قرار می دهند)
3. حجاب در دوره پیامبر اجباری نبود. آیا مسئولین ایران خود را مقدس تر از پیامبر می دانند؟
4. قرآن می گوید "هیچ اجباری در دین نیست"، چه برسد به حجاب.
او حتی 24 سال عمر نکرده، و اکنون 24 سال حبس گرفته است. و فقط او نیست: یاسمن آریانی، فرشته دیدنی و ...صبا کرد افشاری و سایر زندانیان حجاب را آزاد کنید
