On September 13, 2013 I came home to a nightmare that I could not wake up from! My only child, my only son was beaten by the woman we trusted to watch him. I trusted her with the most precious person in my life, my child. I would give my life up for this little boy and here she was almost taking my sons life away from me!
Ill never understand in a million years how Andrea Delvecchio thought it was okay to beat my 1 1/2 year old sweet, innocent, and brave little boy until he was life less and face down on the ground! Ill never understand how she was willing to leave him without calling for help!
Only a disturbed person can go about life as if nothing happened after beating a defenseless baby. That is exactly what she is doing!
My son suffered from fractured ribs, black eyes, broken blood vessels, swelling on his skull, and bruising throught his body. Ethan did not stand a chance to defend himself against Andrea who continued to beat him with her hands and an object.
Words cant describe how I felt sitting in a hospital with my son laying in my arms with his little face so badly beaten. I know my pain does not compare to the pain he must have felt! Im grateful every single day for the miracle that saved my sons life! He is a survivor! Doctors were positive my little boy would not make it through this horrible event without brain damange! They were WRONG! My baby made it to live another day and he is smiling and DOES NOT HAVE brain damange!
Only a monster is capable of such an act! Not only is she a monster , but she is a mother herself. She is the mother to my nephew! How the state of New Jersey is allowing her to keep her child is beyond my belief!
More so, I'll never understand why the justice system doesn't put all monsters who are capable of this behind bars!
Andrea Delvecchio needs to be punished for her actions! Andrea Delvecchio should be behind bars!
We have made it all the way to Grand Jury thus far!
