Defend the right to peaceful protest!

We, the undersigned, strongly object to the draconian measures imposed on four MSPs by the Parliament Standards Committee.

Like you, we cherish the principles of democracy on which the Scottish Parliament was founded and in the light of which all decisions must be made. We understand that some form of sanction is to be expected for disrupting Parliamentary business, but believe that a whole month's ban from Parliament is both disproportionate and inappropriate.

We therefore urge you, with immediate priority, to review and reverse this decision.
