Let Remaining Malheur Wildlife Reserve Protestors Leave Without Fear of Charges and/or Violence Be Brought Against Them

The four remaining protestors at the Malheur Wildlife Reserve have expressed the desire to leave peacefully. However, although the FBI has told them they can leave with no charges being brought against them except one, they have not done so for fear that charges will be brought against them regardless. It is the petitioners' understanding that the protestors, who have thus far been nonviolent and brought weapons only as a means to ensure the safety of their being should the Government officials initiate unlawful violence against them, have long since abandoned the federal building to our understanding.
In lieu of this information, the petitioners request that all currently held protestors who have not engaged in violence, and also that all undetained remaining protestors be released from custody with neither charges nor fear of charges or violence be brought against them. The petitioners acknowledge the presence of firearms amongst the protestors, but hold that such possession was rightful, if not lawful under the Inalienable Human Right of the Second Amendment to protect themselves should Government agents decide to illegaly take lethal action, as has been common these past few years to many American citizens. Again the petitioners request the remaining protestors be allowed to leave peacefully without any charges or lethal action be brought against them.
