People are not aware that when they sign a credit card agreement that they can lose their home, as the government decided some time ago, that creditors should be allowed to put a charge on your home to secure an unsecured debt. There is no warning on your credit card application form that you are putting your home at risk, as with a mortgage, or secured loan.
