Make the Earth Healthy for All: Reduce Toxic Emissions

  • by: GreenFaith
  • recipient: Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a rule to reduce mercury and other toxic emissions from power plants by requiring them to install pollution control technologies. The rule would prevent thousands of cases of premature deaths, heart attacks, asthma and acute bronchitis.

GreenFaith believes that God wants us to support life and make the earth healthy for everyone. One way we can do this is by supporting this important rule.

All people, especially children and the elderly, need clean air to be healthy. The technology to reduce those emissions is widely available. But power industry groups are attacking this proposal, and the EPA needs your support. GreenFaith believes that protecting the earth is a sacred calling, and wants you to get involved.

Put your beliefs into action. Help GreenFaith support a healthy earth for all people. Tell the EPA you support the rule to cut harmful emissions of mercury and other toxins.
Dear Administrator Jackson,

I support the Environmental Protection Agency's proposed rule to reduce reduce mercury and other toxic air pollution from coal-fired power plants by requiring power plants to install pollution control technologies.
