Stand Up for More Presidential Primary Debates

This year's primary debate schedule for Democratic candidates is one of the slimmest in recent American history. In the 2004 presidential cycle, there were 15 primary debates. In 2008, there were 25. This year, there have only been SIX proposed debates between now and March.

More debates would force candidates to take positions on important issues. Debates are the way for us to evaluate the field, and with fewer debates, we'll have fewer opportunities to get to know each candidate.

What's been proposed does not give us, the voters, ample opportunity to hear from the Democratic candidates for President. Raise your voice today and stand up for more presidential primary debates!
