Americans are counting on your proven commitment to clean energy to move us in a new direction. We applaud your efforts to immediately repeal billions of dollars in subsidies for oil companies. As you continue to move forward on a clean energy agenda, we urge you to:
**Make the U.S. a leader in renewable energy production and development.
**Make the U.S. the most energy efficient economy
**Reduce our growing dependence on oil by making our cars go further on a gallon of gas
**Lead the effort to solve global warming by enacting mandatory caps on carbon pollution
As the new leaders in Congress, you have the opportunity to make an enormous difference, and lead us toward a cleaner energy future.
