We, the strong and vocal ECW fans, after having seen what WWE and the Sci-Fi channel are doing to our favorite wrestling promotion, are apalled by the handling of the program and wish to register our complaint.

The New ECW is an insult to ECW Fans
Dear Mr. McMahon (or to whom it may concern at WWE Corporate headquarters),
The undersigned signees, after viewing the first episode of ECW on the Sci-Fi channel are extremely concerned with the way in which you are handling our beloved promotion. We do not feel that the current efforts being made to bring ECW back into our lives represent the interests of wrestling fans and specifically ECW fans. We want you to be aware that while we continue to support what ECW stands for, we do not appreciate this insulting new program and wish you to take whatever steps are necessary to repackage the new ECW to properly represent what we have come to expect from Extreme Championship Wrestling.
Namely, we want more actual wrestling on the program, the show to be taped before an ECW audience and not a SmackDown audience, less of the cartoonish nonsense and more of the ECW wrestlers we have grown to love and respect. We accept the fact that it is necessary to bring certain WWE "Superstars" into the new ECW but do not expect them to be given huge pushes over our existing ECW favorites. We are ECW fans first and foremost and want ECW to be represented properly. We believe that at this time you do not have the interests of us, the fans, at heart but rather are using ECW as only a means to further goals for your flagship programming.
We further wish you to know that while there may not be millions and millions of ECW fans worldwide, we do make up a large group of wrestling fans are believe we are the most fanatic group of fans there is. ECW fans support their promotion more intensely than any other promotion or brand's fans ever have. Please keep this in mind when you handle what has always been OUR wrestling program. ECW is first and foremost about its fans and the original ECW knew this, it seems that you do not.
Lastly we want you to know that we do not plan to boycott or stop watching any WWE programming, including ECW, this is not a petition with any threats involved but simply a plea for the powers that be to please consider our wishes.
