Thank the National Marine Fisheries Service for its Jaw-Some Work!

Sharks and other ocean wildlife depend on a healthy ocean ecosystem. Thanks to climate change, ocean animals are facing big challenges: warming seas, dying reefs and struggling fish populations.

Recently, the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) released a regional plan to implement a new climate science strategy to monitor the effects of climate change on the Pacific Ocean. Here at Ocean Conservancy, we think this is a big step in the right direction, and will greatly help federal agencies, scientists, and regional fisheries managers prepare for climate change.

This Shark Week, join us in telling the NMFS that their work is greatly appreciated. Take action and thank the NMFS for addressing climate change head-on.
