Most people I talk to think that Starbucks is involved in a lot of great humanitarian efforts, but supporting the rodeo will really tarnish that image. I want to bring to your attention to a man slaughtering Horses:The murderous sponsor Mr. Cunningham of the current petition "Membership Input Futurity and Derby Plans" got angry when I left a very RESPECTFUL comment asking that he put in his rules not to slaughter Horses for his Horseracing business. In response he deleted my commments 2 times! He also emailed me that it's necessary to slaughter Horses in his business! I LOVE this petition and signed around 50 anti-slaughter Horse petitions so far. I ASK EVERYONE TO SIGN "Membership Input Futurity and Derby Plans" PETITION SOLELY TO TELL HIM TO STOP SLAUGHTERING HORSES. You can also email him and tell him not to slaughter Horses as a part of his business by clicking on his name on top. His excuse was that I'm not a member, but tens of non-members are signing his petition. Please help in the prevention of Horse Slaughter and sign Mr. Cunnningham's petition asking him to amend his rules stating not to slaughter and kill Horses but to instead send them to a sanctuary when they are unwanted? I THOUGHT i was loved there. APPARENTLY NOT SO. I said your accusing me of stealing. she said no BUT that is what she did to me in front other regular customers. RUINING MY NAME and FACE. people must seen me trying cup in my oversize purse and thought i was stealing. I am HURT. I called starbucks relations first rep said they would call store and have sumone call me took me 5 calls get call back. this has caused me emotional distress. starbucks was my REFUGE from my life. a pklace to rest, read paper, relax now that was TAKEN AWAY from me. How can i go in there again? knowing everyone will see me as THIEF not as loyal customer?? what they did was wrong, i could understand someone asking me in private BUT NOT IN PUBLIC!! i called that store for a apology and rep said i was "rude to him" on phone earlier!! but no apology. apparently its OK call customers THIEFS but its not ok for a customer be "rude" to a rep. i want my letter to be read by starbucks president!! if you dare. even san jose office office person didnt apologize to be admonishing me about being rude!! its ok to call customers thieves!!

If you can do this, we know that you can help with the horrors of
rodeo abuse and even assist Showing Animals Respect and Kindness, also known as SHARK and located here.

This is what has happened recently and we think you need to know
more about the rodeo abuse so that you can ask Starbucks to get
out of supporting rodeo abuse and rather help the animals to be
free of this abuse.

This horse was used in spite of an injury to its hoof. The blood
spatters inside the chute shows that this wasn't the first injured
animal used.

These horrific photos were taken at the annual Cheyenne Frontier
Days Rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming, 2005, and supported by ad dollars from
Starbucks.

Starbucks, with their green-aproned employees,
prides itself on being a socially and environmentally conscious
company. Starbucks says, “Contributing positively to our communities
and environment is so important to Starbucks that it’s a guiding
principle of our mission statement.”

At this year’s Cheyenne
Frontier Days in Wyoming, what was apparently ‘so important’ to
Starbucks was supporting this extremely abusive rodeo by advertising in
the program and extending their hours for rodeo fans. Starbucks must
learn that supporting events full of inherent cruelty is not
“contributing positively to our communities.”

Please stop all further involvement with the rodeo.
